Following two successful projects in 2017-18, 'Kinderchor mal anders' begins again in September in partnership with the Pfingstgemeinde in Berlin-Friedrichshain. Children aged 8-11 are invited to take part in a series of workshops led by Pam Hulme on Friday afternoons (approx. x3 per month) at Pfingstkirche. Through a combination of our voices, instruments and music technology, we will improvise, perform and compose music in a wide range of styles, leading up to a performance on November 18th. Alongside our experimentation, 'Kinderchor mal anders' supports children to learn more traditional aspects of music-making such as reading notation and ensemble singing.
